10 London Pubs You Need To Drink In Before You Die

7. Zeitgeist At The Jolly Gardeners

Where: Black Prince Road What: Pub serving German beer and food The building now known as Zeitgeist at the Jolly Gardeners was taken over by German owners in 2007, and given a suitably Germanic makeover. As well as offering one of the most extensive selections of German beer in London, Zeitgeist also has traditional food such as sausages, Käsespätzle and Gulasch. Zeitgeist hosts a number of beer festivals throughout the year, which serve to further broaden the already expansive drink selection. If you're looking for somewhere to watch a bit of football while munching on a currywurst, then Zeitgeist is the place for you. Just don't mention the war, whatever you do.
