Tess Holliday dropped out of high school because of the intense bullying she endured due to her weight, but she wouldn't allow her haters to stop her from pursuing her modeling career. In 2013, she founded the wildly successful #EffYourBeautyStandards social media campaign, and in 2015, she became the first size 22 model to sign with a major modeling agency. Her outlook is an honest one - she's tired of being silenced, alongside the behalf of other women who aren't seen as beautiful because of their size. Holliday told Today: "There are so many messages in the media that say it's all about being slender, about having your hair a certain way, or wearing your makeup a certain way. We want change from the media and society in general".
