Known as Metal Fang due to his metallic white teeth, Nikolai Dzhumagaliev killed at least seven women between 1979 and 1980, though it is suspected that his actual body count may have been closer to 10.

A keen hunter, Dzhumagaliev stalked his first victim near the secluded Uzunagach-Maibulak tracks, charging up to her and slitting her throat with a knife before drinking the blood and cutting portions of flesh from her that he later apparently placed into a meat grinder for easier consumption.

Over the course of the year he killed six more people in a similar manner before being arrested after drunkenly shooting a colleague in an accident. Shockingly, he was released only to go on to commit three more murders.

He was caught in an act of what can only be described as pure psychosis when he invited a group of friends to his home, only to guide one to another room where he killed her and began dismembering her corpse. His other friends fled after peeking into the room and Dzhumagaliev was found on his knees smeared in blood by the police.

Amazingly they allowed him to escape, though he was caught a day later at his cousin's house. He has since spent the rest of his life - bar another escape in 1989 - in psychiatric facilities.
