The Doodler or The Black Doodler, was the name given to a serial killer after the deaths of 14 men and assaults of 3 men in a gay community in San Francisco, California between 1974 and 1975. He would lure his victims to have sex with him by visiting known gay bars offering to sketch the men for free. He would then stab his victims multiple times killing them. A man was questioned by the police as a suspect, however the 3 surviving victims did not want to testify in Court as they did not want to be outed as gay. Little else is known about The Doodler and nobody has been held accountable for these deaths.
