10 Party Games That Become A Lot More Exciting With Strip Rules

6. Red Rover

Red Rover It's not just for kids anymore! The classic schoolyard game is back with a vengeance. In Red Rover, two teams of equal players line up hand in hand. One team calls out "Red Rover, Red Rover, send (insert player name here) on over". The player called out than breaks into a run and makes a challenge to break through a link, running in between two players. If the player is successful in the challenge, they get to pick between one of the two opponents that failed to stop him from breaking through. That player will now join the other team. If the challenge is not success, the player will join that team. The game goes until one team has all but one player. The full team will call out their Red Rover, and the lone player will make their attempt. If the attempt goes through, the game continues as normal. If it does not, the game is over and the opposing team wins. That's all well and good, but let's takes off some clothes shall we? Let's say you make your run and get through. You choose the person who you want to join your team. The person you didn't choose, must strip off an article of clothing. Should you not make a successful run, in addition to joining the other team... you must also take off some clothes. If you run out of clothes, you are out of the game all together. This creates another win condition where the last man/team standing is the winner.

I'm a fan of pop-culture in all mediums: Music, Film, Gaming, Comics, TV, Whatever. I can generally find something enjoyable in even the worst trash. I guess as a B-Horror enthusiast, I kind of have to. Currently I'm an author working on a manuscript for a crime novel, and attending school to be an Environmental Health and Safety Technician. In the past I've made a go at running in an election for MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly) for my hometown of Glace Bay. I was 23 at the time, and though I lost (by like a lot), I learned a lot more about politics in a month than I ever learned. Get at me on Twitter @DanWilsonWC
