Following on from that, it's likely the case that the heads of the Apple cult actually believe they are still the market leaders. Believe it or not, people in the smartphone business have been clamouring for Apple to finally bring out a 'phablet' style device to compete with the likes of Samsung, Sony and HTC for a long, long time. Years, in fact. But while smartphones have grown in size to fill the big screen niche, it has taken Apple until 2014 to actually bring their own version to the table with the iPhone 6 Plus. In addition to that, they are a couple of years behind the rest in terms of hardware, too. Even competitors like LG can have had a field day laughing off Apple's latest release: Just take a good look at the picture at the top of this page. Market leaders? Certainly not. Leaders in innovation? No way. Change the record guys, or at least do something different.
