This one seems so obvious when you think about it. As if a country that so judiciously places its secret military bases in empty locales that don't get a lot of foot traffic like Alaska, or Australia would leave a juicy piece of real estate like the Grand Canyon to be simply a tourist trap. Hiding in plain sight! It's the perfect crime! Were it not for the UFOs. According to reports from the Arizona Gazette from the beginning of the 20th century, there's a whole city down there amongst the caves. In this case, it isn't so much the US military carving something out where they can chill with extraterrestrials, maybe learn some of their secrets the aliens were there way, way before anyone else. Smithsonian archaeologist SA Jordan apparently explored a man-made cavern with hundreds of rooms, enough to hold over 50 thousand people. Or aliens. Aliens are about the same size as people, aren't they? Apparently that city is now guarded by a military presence, so don't ask to drop by when you go on your guided tour of the Canyon.
