10 Staggeringly Absurd Conspiracy Theories

7. Nazi Moon Base!

Nazi Moon BaseThe Theory The tide had started to turn against Nazi Germany by 1942. Entrenched in a vicious battle outside Stalingrad on the Eastern front, deadlocked against the British, now with American support on the Western front and with their key allies increasingly distracted by on-going concerns of their own, there seemed to be nowhere left to turn for Hitler's forces. The solution? To infinity and beyond! Realising that defeat was looking inevitable in the future, The Germans had secretly been working on discovering a method of space travel, and succeeded in landing on the moon a good 26 years before America. In 1945, Hitler faked his own death to avoid capture by the Russians and fled to space, where the Nazis had set up a colony on the Moon. The Fourth Reich continues to secretly rule space to this day, building up the momentum to take over Earth. The Proof About as much solid evidence exists to support this theory as there does to support the claim that Hitler fed Berlin for Argentina. Though it's claimed that whenever you see unexplained lights in the sky, that's another fierce Nazi space battle waging. The Truth If Hitler had the technological advancements to make space travel possible in the early 1940's you would have assumed that winning the war would have been a given. Undoubtedly, the same people who believe that the Nazis became some Sith like presence in Space are the ones that claim the Americans faked the Moon landings in 1969. You can't have jam on everything, you know.

I am a freelance writer, currently residing in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. I was raised by wolves in the woodlands of Northumberland, but am still posher than Colin Firth having dinner with The Queen. I write all of my pieces by swallowing a cocktail of scrabble tiles and vodka, then regurgitating them over my jotter. Hope this explains the typos.
