10 Things We Learned From Bret Weinstein On The Joe Rogan Experience

Just when you thought you'd got through a list without reading about the current global health crisis, Bret Weinstein took some time to stress his concern about what the planet is dealing with.

He clarified that despite it not being as lethal as we feared it might be, he's afraid of the problem because it's brand new to us evolutionarily. The evolutionary theorist also thinks the U.S. 'screwed up' the lockdown badly and now looks over at New Zealand with 'utter envy'.

Then Weinstein dropped a bombshell by admitting that he thinks we're dealing with a problem which isn't what the world told us it is.

Early on, the former professor, like so many, thought this was a bat-born issue which had been transmitted to people from the wild through wet markets in Wuhan. Once Weinstein tweeted about the subject, though, people began to ask him whether he thought it was a coincidence that there's a bio-safety lab level-four in Wuhan?

He immediately thought this was peculiar and looked into it.

Now he believes the 'lab leak' hypothesis is becoming more and more likely as the original source of the problem, as the virus itself has a number of components which seem to suggest it's the result of manipulation in a lab.

It looks like this 'lab leak' conspiracy theory isn't going away any time soon and may very well be rooted in some uncomfortable facts.
