6. He Wasn't Supposed To Be A Main Character On Parks And Recreation
Pratt went on to feature in various TV shows and films in guest roles, and one-off appearances though a major break came when he landed a temporary role on the long-running US comedy series, Parks And Recreation. He was only cast for a six-episode spell, but the producers loved his character Andy Dwyer so much, they decided to keep him on as a series regular and he featured in every single episode across the seven seasons of the show, 125 episodes in total. Co-creator Michael Schur told Entertainment Weekly: "Almost at the point of the audition we were like, Oh, we have to re-conceive this, because this guys the funniest person weve ever seen. Were not letting that guy go. Pratt is very often the best improviser in the cast, which is really saying something.
