It sounds crazy, but it's totally true: one of TV's most famous detectives, Kojak, was actually Jennifer Aniston's godfather up until his untimely death in 1994. That's to say the actor who played him, Telly Savalas, was one of Aniston's father's best friends, and was bestowed with the honour when little Jennifer was born. John Aniston, Jennifer's dad, is also an actor in his own right, and has been a regular on Days Of Our Lives since 1985 (which makes its inclusion on Friends as a regular plot element even more hilarious). Bonus trivia... because why not? Jennifer's surname is actually Anastasakis. Her grandfather, who was Greek, changed it when the family moved to the United States in 1935. Probably a good idea, to be entirely honest, given that there's no telling how to pronounce that thing. Seriously: where do you start with a word like that?
