10 Things You Didn't Know You Could Do With Apple Music

9. Stop It From Automatically Charging You

Possibly the most important thing you can do before subscribing to the free trial of Apple Music is knowing how to stop your subscription before your credit cards get hit with a hefty debt. Apple Music has two 'modes' available for trial: the individual, which is limited to a single user, whereas the Family plan is $14.99 and covers up to six people - although to make use of it, Family Sharing has to be turned on, for which Apple provides a convenient link.

Happily however, both of these can be turned off in exactly the same manner, even if that process is not immediately visible to the innocent user. After going into the 'Account' window, Users have to navigate to the 'View Apple ID' window (and sign in, if they have not already), before hitting the 'Manage' button under 'Subscriptions'.

Once there, cancelling your subscription is as easy as flicking the On/Off button on 'Automatic Renewal' - although its odd that Apple has gone for a design choice that users will not have seen since iOS 4. Of course, since Apple is hoping that users will keep their Apple Music subscription past the trial period, its possible that they were hoping this design would never be noticed at all.
