3. Nicolas Cage VS. Kathleen Turner

In 2008, Nicolas Cage won a libel case against husky-voiced actress, Kathleen Turner. The case concerned a passage in Turners autobiography, Send Yourself Roses, which described working with Cage on the film, Peggy Sue Got Married. Turner said that Cage was €œarrested twice for drunk-driving and, I think, for stealing a dog. He€™d come across a Chihuaha he liked and stuck it in his jacket.€ Hey, we€™ve all been there, right? A night out just isn't complete unless you've kidnapped at least a Shih Tzu. It was only natural that Cage was keen to dispel the rumours, given his wholesome reputation. After he won the case, Turner apologised, paid Cage€™s legal costs and made a donation to a charity of his choosing.
