6. The Dunwich Horror

That is the question posed by The Dunwich Horror, in which the isolated little hamlet of Dunwich, Massachusetts is plagued by the demonic Whateley family and their suspicious dealings with unseen malevolent forces. After the birth of Wilbur Whateley sends many of the town's inhabitants into speculation about the nature of his birth, strange happenings begin to haunt the village in the small hours; disappearing cattle, haunting noises and a looming sense of a presence occupying the Whateley barn-house. As the boy matures at an all to rapid rate, so too do the unusual instances become more and more frequent.
