7. Volvo Jean-Claude Van Damme
Technically, this isn't a commercial. This is part of a "film" that Volvo is releasing next year to better solidify that they make cars that are driveable, seeing as how there aren't any other cars in the world that drive in straight lines, can maintain a speed for a certain amount of time, and can withstand the weight of a has-been martial artist. Oh wait, no, that's not right... Jean-Claude Van Damme has a cult following now and I get that; it was smart for Volvo to pick up a valuable "celebrity" like that for a commercial. Never once, though, did I want to buy a Volvo because I thought Jean-Claude owned one, which is what endorsements are for. Also, this isn't the first time I've seen someone split between two cars. Footloose, anyone? And those were two different cars and they were going super fast. Stunt doubles aside, someone did that stunt and they didn't need Enya playing in the background to do it. Who doesn't love Enya, though? I mean, really?
