2. Make It Fun

Whoever came up with "No Pain, No Gain" clearly had something of a screw loose.

Okay, it might twinge a bit, you might be a bit sore in the morning, but the idea that exercise is supposed to be some kind of ordeal is just shows a serious lack of imagination.

One of the greatest qualities of lazy people is their resourcefulness. The drive to get things done with minimal exertion and unpleasantness can lead to some seriously innovative solutions.

If you just can't face the idea of a gym, take your exercise elsewhere. If you're doing something that you enjoy, then you won't even notice the fact that you're working hard.

You could take up rock climbing or sign yourself up for a colour run (preferably with a bunch of mates). You could even just crank up the tunes at home and have a boogie on the days when you really don't fancy a proper workout. Just because you're not slaving over a hot kettlebell, doesn't mean it doesn't count.

Apart from anything else, if you're enjoying yourself, you're more likely to keep at it.
