6. Guy Shoots His Own Foot, Gets Done For Child Abuse
Adam Hirtle shot himself in the foot just so he would know what it felt like. Police were dispatched after neighbours heard the gun go off twice as Hirtle shot his boot first, put it on and then shot his foot. He told officers that he had intended to do this, that it was't a mistake or an attack, and although he now knows what it literally feels like to shoot yourself in the foot, he's also done that himself metaphorically as it hasn't given him any favours with the law. He was later arrested on suspicion for prohibited use of weapons as well as reckless endangerment and child abuse, as it is said that there were a number of children in the area when the gun went off.
