12 Most Controversial Joe Rogan Experience Guests

5. Milo Yianappoulos

Outspoken British journalist Milo Yianappoulos gained a degree of infamy between 2016 and 2019 for his college campus tours and advocacy of free-speech. Milo’s speeches and writings illustrate his position as a provocateur in society.

Originally writing about technology in The Daily Telegraph, then founding The Kernel - a technology blog - which was threatened with closure from the high court, it was when Yianappoulos was hired by Breitbart that he rose in prominence.

Amongst other things, Milo is controversial for his stance on homosexuality - Yianappoulos is an openly gay man, yet deems homosexuality as a lifestyle choice which will ultimately bring unhappiness - as well as an opponent of feminism, with much of his rationale being deemed misogynistic.

In the two times Milo has appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast, he has been somewhat eloquent, yet proven a lot of inconsistencies, or contradictions, in his political beliefs.

After both of his appearances on the Experience, Rogan himself came under fire, receiving allegations of supporting alt-right politics and aiding hate speech via his platform.
