Researchers in Florida have managed to find a way to delete memories in mice and think that this technique could be used in the treatment of mental illnesses such as PTSD, depression and addiction. 

The research is still in its infancy, but one day in the future, you may never have to experience a late-night "embarrassing memories" slideshow from your brain ever again.
