This one is kind of a cheat, but the preeminent Hollywood power couple of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West sort of need to share their place on the list - an interesting twist considering the proclivity of each for hogging the spotlight. The couple introduced baby North to the world in 2013, with Kanye popping the question in (surprise!) lavish fashion at San Francisco's AT&T Park soon after. Rumors persist that they may film the actual ceremony and release it in an effort to create even more publicity, a revelation that could have a lasting impact on the idea of "reality TV" as we know it. West also dropped his critically-lauded album Yeezus this year, a disc that many heralded as a hip-hop masterpiece. This coming off of 2010's excellent My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, establishing a pair of albums that will go down as an all-time one-two punch in rap history. For her part, Kardashian finalized a rough divorce early in 2013 before giving birth to her daughter, but stayed in the public eye with her reality shows and various business ventures. The two have truly become the face of young celebrity couples in 2013, and while it's hard to know what that says about modern society, it still earns them high placement on this list.
