14 Great Reasons To Be A Londoner In 2014

6. Nights At The Museum And Zoo

As a child, the idea of going to the zoo or the museum after hours was probably one of the most exciting things imaginable (depending on how nerdy you were. We were all closet nerds really). There are thousands of bars in London, so why spend your evening in a bar when you can spend the night in the Natural History Museum right!? (Or the V&A, or the Science Museum, or London Zoo if you're so inclined). If you've ever been to a London museum during the day, you'll know it's a cesspool of children on school trips running around shouting, and if you want to drink you'll have to put that bottle of whisky in a brown paper bag. Museum late-visits solve this, thank Christ. Rather than children there's slightly tipsy adults talking a bit more loudly and giggling a bit more than usual among helpfully provided pop-up bars, food and tours around the museum. Zoo late-trips also provide entertainment and cabaret, so if you're going to get smashed at the weekend, why not do it somewhere awesome?

Fan of Taylor Swift and the Dead Kennedys (a duet I can only dream of). I like dystopias, slasher films, and video games that make me feel things.
