14 Problems Only People From Manchester Will Understand

1. Piccadilly Gardens

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xb-ic2wbofA Piccadilly Gardens used to be home to an ornamental pond, terraced gardens and actual trees; an urban oasis offering respite to weary workers and giving the citizens of Manchester a much needed and deserved civic green space. Now it€™s home to drug dealers, a big wheel that nobody rides and Burger King wrappers. Take that, civilisation! The thing with Piccadilly Gardens is that whatever the council try to do to improve it, they mess it up. At one point they even tried pretending it wasn't there by erecting a massive concrete wall around half of it. As of 2015, they've admitted defeat and have sold part of it off to private developers so we can get some much needed franchise businesses into the area. Thank goodness for that. Locals enjoying a relaxing afternoon in Piccadilly Gardens (contains strong language and scenes of graphic violence)
