When the gorgeous Olsen twins turned 18 there was a massive public hoopla around TV's double-act suddenly becoming 'legal'. The countdown to Mary-Kate and Ashley turning 18 began in their late teens when they turned from child stars to teen babes. Many critics had previously cited their image too provocative as they posed for several photo shoots looking far older than their teenage years, but when 2004 came everything changed. Their landmark birthday saw the twins take charge of their billion-dollar brand Dualstar, along with launching their own fashion line named The Row, and it also saw them being the first twins to be awarded with a joint Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It's hard to believe that the once teeny twins who starred in Full House and tween movies like Passport To Paris and New York Minute are now nearing thirty and are respected business women. They recently stated in Allure Magazine that they've never really felt like actresses: "We still feel welcome in the entertainment industry. But it's not the one we're in."
