There's a lot to admire David Beckham for: there was THAT free kick against Greece, his ability to fell an Argentinean with the gentlest of strokes and, of course, his current Instagram explosion. However, he did, for a while, become the poster boy for this not so fly hair style. This parting of the strands was a fashion sensation, with millions of lads worldwide growing one and in turn unwittingly looking more spaniel than man. The craze eventually petered out, with other notable celeb perpetrators, such as that soppy chap from A1, James Van Der Beek, Leonardo Di Caprio and pretty much all of Westlife seeing the error of their ways.
