If somebody had dared make a derisory comment against this brand at the time, they were either too skint to afford the cost a garment of this clothing commands, or, were clad head to toe in Fila. Everywhere you looked in the latter half of the decade someone was proudly sporting a trackie top, trousers or tee with this logo plastered all over the sleeves and legs, respectively. In reality, though, Kappa clothing really was a bit naff; all cheaply put together and not so bright and beautiful in the colour selections of any particular garment. Eventually, this craze scampered back to its native Italy, along with Football Italia on Channel Four. It's the latter that remains the most missed.
