15 Things Only Tyneside Cinema Fans Will Understand

10. A Screening In The Classic

The Tyneside offers films in four screens: the Classic, the Roxy, the Gallery, and the Electra. The first of these, the Classic, is aptly described by the cinema€™s own website as €œthe heart€ of the place. A beautiful auditorium with distinctive (and super comfortable) red seats, sofa seats, a balcony, a stage curtain €“ this is cinema as it should be. You€™d expect the price of such comfort and grandeur to be rather on the excessive side, yet the difference in cost between a visit to the Tyneside and a multiplex is minimal, and unquestionably worth it. Of course, if the film you wish to see isn€™t in the Classic don€™t let that deter you, as the other screens all offer their own sense of charm found lacking elsewhere.
