Germany's answer to The Great Escape, this saw 25 German POWs tunnel out of Camp Papago Park in Arizona, all of whom were re-captured without bloodshed or extreme punishment. The most intriguing point concerned prisoner Johann Kremer, who actually re-broke into the camp on several occasions to steal food for himself and the other two longest uncaptured escapees.
