16 Secrets You Didn't Know About Universal Studios Resort Orlando

11. Doc Brown's Guest Appearance

Back To The Future Doc Brown
Universal

Back in 2007 the Back to the Future ride at Universal Studios closed its doors for good to make way for a Simpsons attraction. As a departing farewell, Doc Brown guest stars in a short scene on the TVs in The Simpson's Ride queue area.

In the short Doc Brown (voiced by Christopher Lloyd) is forced to sell his Institute of Future Technology to Krusty the Clown after a time travel accident involving Professor Frink.

Seems a reasonable explanation as to why The Simpsons took over the area.
