18 Problems Only Claustrophobic People Will Understand

5. Car Wash Of Doom

Being busy, who has time to wash their own car? Who still washes their own car? Especially now that you can get your car valeted for £5 at your local €˜€™Hand Car Wash.€™€™ But if you suffer from claustrophobia, you are best advised to stay away from the automatic car washes. Once you place your car wheels on the track and it begins to pull your car through the car wash, you are stuck. There is no way out for you now, you have to wait until you reach the end. Not only are you trapped inside your car, you are at the mercy of the rotating brushes and foam that€™s engulfing your car. You can€™t see out any more, the windows are covered in soap, all you can hear from the outside in the steady spray of water and whirring of the machinery. Once the soap has washed off, you can breathe but you are not free yet. Now the dryers start blowing intense pressure in your direction. The noise invades your personal space and you still can€™t get out. So if your car is dirty, get out the bucket and sponge.
