Everyone is crazy for tartan. True Scots will have about six tartan blankets lying around the house, in their car and some of them are bound to have some sexy tartan underwear for those special occasions. Each family, or clan, has a different style and colour of tartan so it is a big part of a family's heritage that has been transformed into a famous fashion design. If you're not really fond of tartan before your visit, it'll grow on you before you leave, because you literally will have no choice but to constantly look at it.
