Before Facebook existed, when you were tagging someone, that means you were doing the horizontal polka. Now a days when you tag someone, most people assume it has to do with Facebook. There are a few different ways tagging works on Facebook. You can tag someone in a photo or you can tag someone in a status update as well. Also, you are able to tag someone when you check in to a certain place and tag them in a response to a post as well. Basically you can tag all over the place on Facebook. Just make sure you use protection.
5. Poking People In A Non Sexual Way
Facebook sure likes to use sexual innuendos for their features. We just talked about tagging and now we're talking about poking. Before Facebook, poking meant something completely different, just like tagging. Today, poking via Facebook means you're trying to get someone's attention, or you're thinking about them. This has also lead to "poke wars" where people poke each other back and forth as fast as possible. If you poke a lot on Facebook, you definitely are entertained very easily, or just being annoying to your friends.
