Since 2005, you probably know Alyson Hannigan from her role as Lily Aldrin on the smash sitcom, How I Met Your Mother. Her character was very cute on the surface, but with a very sexual "dark side" bubbling under the surface. That's ironic, considering Hannigan's other most famous role is as Michelle Flaherty from the American Pie movie series, aka the girl who stuck a flute in her... you know... this one time at band camp. Michelle Flaherty was very cute on the surface with a very sexual "dark side" under the surface, too. Maybe it's just how Hannigan really is. If you go back to 1999 and the very first American Pie movie, and then go back to March 2014 and the very final episode of HIMYM, you can pretty much see Hannigan as the exact same person, but not just because her characters on both vehicles are similar. She has also aged very well through the years. She was 25 on American Pie, playing a high school student, and doing so successfully and believably. She certainly wasn't coming off as someone in their mid-to-late 30's on HIMYM. This is another one designed to make people feel old, simply on how long the American Pie movies have been around. It came out over 15 years ago, and there are always... always... rumors and talks about bringing the series back. Sure, the time may have passed, but when your series makes $1 billion in box office receipts, there will always be people who want to see more of you.
