20. Micropachycephalosaurus Is The Longest-Named Dino
That's 23 letters just to name one dinosaur - seems a little unnecessary, doesn't it? Perhaps, but it earns the prize of the longest-dinosaur name. Well the Micropachycephalosaurus - meaning "small, thick-headed lizard" - is usually found in modern-day China and was named by palaeontologist Dong Zhiming who discovered it in 1978.
