If you needed further proof that the Joe Rogan Experience is one of the biggest podcasts on the planet, then having the potential candidate for the US Democratic Party, Bernie Sanders, in the hot seat should be more than enough of a confirmation.

Unlike the political debates that only offer potential presidents a 30 to 45 second sound bite, Sanders was given the opportunity to really share his philosophy in long form. Most importantly, he was doing it on a platform where although the host wouldn't be afraid to challenge him, they would also give him the time needed to get his point across.

Although it was certainly an interesting podcast and one that allowed fans who were on the fence politically to get an idea on his policies, the aftermath that followed is what was truly interesting. Ever since Sanders went on the show, there's been a backlash from some Democrats regarding him accepting an endorsement from Rogan.
