Although a lot of the conspiracy theories that are brought up on the JRE can come across as far-fetched, there's one that feels a little bit strange to outrightly deny and that's the idea that alien lifeforms exist and have visited earth. While Rogan is certainly sceptical on most things - just ask him if he thinks the world is flat - he's far more open to the idea that aliens exist.

One of the many people to go on the show and claim that aliens have visited us is Bob Lazar. For those that don't know who he is, Lazar has made claims that he was hired by the US government to reverse engineer technology that they deemed to be not from this planet. Lazar has been making these claims for years and they're chronicled in the documentary, Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers.

Honestly, while it's important to stay open to everything, it feels like Lazar is a bit hokey. However, Rogan's fanbase has always been a big on conspiracy theorists, so it's no surprise that when they got someone like him on the podcast it would be a huge deal.
