17. Writing In Spiral Bound Notebooks...

Having finally settled into a thoroughly uncomfortable desk the lefty takes out his notebook and a new problem immediately presents itself - how to write in a book which has inconveniently placed the spiral binding directly in the place where your hand should settle? Most lefties have come to work around this inconsiderate design by turning the notebook on its head and writing from back to front, much in the same way as the Japanese work from the end to the beginning. Still, it wouldn't hurt for a binding that didn't put lefties at an immediate disadvantage.
