15. Hating Wednesday Socials
Unless you're in a sports society, chances are you hate Wednesday evenings, and spend most of them hiding under your bed. Because Wednesday is, invariably, the night when all of the sports teams have their weekly socials. The streets become flooded with people in ridiculous costumes (no social is complete without a fancy dress theme) playing drinking games. Later, this will become people in ridiculous costumes getting off with each other before finally becoming people in ridiculous costumes throwing up. On the plus side, there is nothing more entertaining than sitting in Hofi Coffi early on Thursday morning, watching the assorted hockey girls, rugby boys, rowers, and footballers doing the walk of shame while still wearing togas.
With a (nearly) useless degree in English literature and a personal trainer qualification he's never used, Freddie spends his times writing things that he hopes will somehow pay the rent. He's also a former professional singer, and plays the saxophone and ukulele. He's not really used to talking about himself in the third person, and would like to stop now, thanks.
