19. Tourists... Everywhere

Literally everywhere. Events like Hogmanay are a nightmare and if you're able to spend the whole night without getting lost from the group then you deserve a medal. There are a few months of the year where tourists don't feel the need to visit the city if it isn't Hogmanay or a festival which gives you some peace and quiet. Then they all come at once, and they all claim to have a long lost relative who was definitely from Edinburgh, especially the Americans who all believe they have Scottish roots... somewhere.
