18. Going Away On A Whim Isn't Likely
You can't just book a weekend away and shout 'surprise' because most retail workers have to work all weekend or one day or another. You need to plan ahead and let them know so that they can book it off from work weeks in advance. Don't choose the same weekend as a big event like a festival because it's hardly likely that they'll even be able to get if off anyway as everyone always wants the same dates off. Imagine that.
