In those hazy teenage years, your first love can seem like the most dramatic thing in the world. The be all and end all. But the truth is, you'll probably fall in and out of love quite a few times in your life, despite what British romance films tell us. Think how many times you have had a romantic relationship through convenience; because someone nice was in your class, studied at your university, or struck up a conversation at work. This highlights just how compatible we humans are with so, so many others, no matter what popular culture and its one true love notions begs us to believe.
