He has appeared an astonishing 55 times on the front of the magazine. In fact, Nixon was also named "TIME Man of the Year" twice - first of all in 1971 while serving as President, and secondly he shared the 1972 award with his National Security Advisor Henry Kissinger following the historic official visit to China.
