LHR, EWR, CCU, SFO, ICN, PEK, MEL, PHL, AKL, YYZ, DIK How many of those do you know? After just a short period of time, not only will you know these major airport codes off by heart, you will use these and these only to refer to the airports. In front of customers it looks either pretentious or professional. Your aim is to confound them with as much jargon as possible in order to gain confidence, and this is an easy way to do it. P.S. That last code is actually real, although not somewhere you would like to be stuck in.
