12. All The Best Houses Going To People Who Don't Even Live There

It's wonderful that people love Cornwall enough to want to live there, but there are so many second-home owners now that it's getting to be a bit silly. There are 26,000 homes in the county owned by people that don't even live here, and new build properties are getting snapped up, forcing the average age of the county's full-time residents up and making new buyers look outside of the county for their chance. Which means having to endure not living in Cornwall, which seems unfair to say the least.
