25 Awesome Things To (Still) Look Forward To In 2014

13. Revival

Why Get Excited? Whereas Doctor Sleep saw Stephen King dipping his quill into the crime genre, his second novel of the year, Revival, marks a return to horror. The plot follows the crossing paths of a small town rocker, Jamie Morton, and a mysterious minister named Charles Jacobs, with the latter seemingly having powers beyond that of your standard Bible Belt man of god. King had a lot of fun with rock and roll in his nineties short, You Know They Got A Hell Of A Band, and with Revival he looks set to explore darker terrains by going down the road of Edgar Allan Poe and Cormac McCarthy, giving readers his interpretation of the sinister preacher man. When€™s It Out? King€™s latest sermon will be released in November.
