5. Pacemaker
For those wondering if this app was for monitoring your heart, then you're wrong. It's about setting the pace of your own music. What Pacemaker does, is take the effort out of mixing by adding the magic. All you need to do is pick your music from iTunes or Spotify, set your own transitions between tracks, hit play and you're sorted. It's perfect for those, unplanned night outs, or if you completely forgot you were hosting the house party of the season then you'll have your own personal DJ on your wrist, back pocket or lap. It's pretty cool in that it will work with your Apple Watch so you can add live effects, mix in new tracks and see notifications about your mix directly from your wrist. Quickly get the next track into the mix! Just tap it and Pacemaker will move to the next mix moment. Although the app is free it has a suite of in-app purchases to add loops, reverbs which is how it makes its money, personally, I'd pay for a paid version and not have the add ons because it becomes a bit of a turn-off.
