Little is currently known about the first new Gears of War game for the Xbox One, though it appears that prior protagonist Marcus Fenix possibly isn't part of the equation this time, unless he's being held back for spoilerific purposes. From the gameplay shown off at E3, it doesn't seem like Gears is doing a whole lot new, but as long as it serves up the stellar graphics and gritty combat fans have come to expect, that shouldn't be a problem at all. If you needed yet another reason to pick up an Xbox One, well, here it is.
