Each year Universal Orlando Resort host A Celebration of Harry Potter, a fan event that pays tribute to the wizarding world that J.K. Rowling created.

A Celebration of Harry Potter allows fans to become fully immersed in the movies and books. Not only can you explore Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade but you can learn to battle with wands, discoer the making of the movies first-hand from those who worked on them and hang out with other Potterheads. Each year, stars of the franchise also take to the stage to answer fan questions, an experience that usually brings about revelations and hilarious anecdotes.

Although the event centres around the Harry Potter franchise, the past two years has seen a much bigger presence given to Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and The Cursed Child. 2018 saw booths dedicated to the costumes and also allowed guests to step right into Newt's suitcase filled with fantastical animals.

This year's A Celebration of Harry Potter took place over the last weekend in January and was bigger and better than ever before. There were brand new panel guests, the Expos were more interactive and each night culminated in a spectacular night time show at Hogwarts Castle.
