5. Malfoy, Crabbe, And Goyle Dress Up As Dementors – The Prisoner Of Azkaban
Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle aren’t the brightest students, but their stupidity hits an all-time low during Harry’s second Quidditch match in The Prisoner of Azkaban.
Having watched Harry fall from his broomstick due to the presence of dementors, the Slytherins decide to dress up as the Azkaban guards during his next Quidditch match. Of course, their plan completely fails. Harry fires the Patronus Charm straight at them, and they become entangled in their own disguises.
As scary as the dementors are to look at, it’s their powers that make them frightening. Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle conveniently forgot this fact whilst they were hitching up their plans. And how did they manage to pull off this stunt anyway? You’d think someone would have noticed them as they put on their disguises and strode onto the pitch.
What’s more, if their foolish plans had been successful, they might have done some serious damage – Harry fell off his broom the last time the dementors turned up. Despite how much Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle hate Gryffindor, it’s a bit extreme to try and kill a member of their Quidditch team.
