8 Eerie Final Interviews Dead Celebs Gave
3. The Ultimate Warrior
Jim Hellwig, known to professional wrestling fans around the world as The Ultimate Warrior, the heir apparent to Hulk Hogan in the early 90s, had a complicated history with the profession. His sudden rise to stardom coincided with a massive ego trip, which ultimately led to a major falling out with Vince McMahon and the company that made him a household name.
But in 2014, Hellwig and McMahon finally buried the hatchet, allowing The Ultimate Warrior to enter into the WWE Hall of Fame. The day before his death, Hellwig gave a speech in front of millions of wrestling fans during an episode of WWE Raw, thanking them for the opportunity to prove himself once again.
As the speech went on, it started to sound like he was working through his own eulogy:
"Every man's heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe a final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others, and makes them bleed deeper and [believe in] something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized. By the storytellers, by the loyalty, by the memory of those who honor him."
The very next day, Hellwig collapsed outside of his hotel and was pronounced dead by the time he arrived at the hospital.
