8 Embarrassing Mistakes You Won't Believe People On Dating Sites Make

6. The Fake Accounts

This particular brand of annoyance are either men who have made accounts to fool you they are female, or men or women who are trying to find out if their loved one is cheating on them. With the fake female accounts run by men, often they're made out of boredom to embarrass other people and to post the results of their conversations on a social network site, or to acquire pictures of other women under the pretence that both parties are lesbians. These accounts are usually easy to spot because everything about the profile is short, generic and boring, and there tends to be just one or two pictures of a person which have obviously been stolen off a Facebook account or lifted from Google images. A lot of times these accounts are up and running for a few days until the person behind them gets inevitably bored, or moderators have found out it's a fake account. There is the flipside of course where men or women are trying to catch out their loved one on a particular dating site, or to find out if their partner would take it further if a random profile messaged them. These accounts will be searching the area in question that their loved one would say they're from, and when they've found the person in question, they proceed to message them to find out if that individual is a cheater. Of course there's no real winner from this situation, but still it doesn't stop the fake accounts from being made for a host of embarrassing reasons.
